On the National Dairy Month, here is some great news to escalate the happiness of all the dairy as well as the animal lovers.
Are you a morning person whose day can’t start without a hot masala chai or a cup of coffee? Or Are you a night person who can’t sleep without having an ice-cream or any dessert to deal with those late night cravings? Well, be it a pizza topped with cheese or a cake topped with cream, we all can’t stop drooling over it, and our mouth starts watering. It’s yet another year when we celebrate our love for dairy treats throughout June as it’s the National Dairy Month.
National Milk Month
It started out as National Milk Month in 1937 as a way to promote drinking milk and since then became a great way to start the summer with nutrient-rich dairy foods. As I had also mentioned in my last blog that we all have grown up listening, ‘Milk’ is the powerhouse of all the essential nutrients we need. So, whether it's protein to help build and repair the muscle tissue of active bodies or vitamin A to help maintain healthy skin, dairy products are a natural nutrient powerhouse.
Ananda, Arvind Dairy and Happy Milk
World Animal Protection is here with some great news to escalate the happiness of all the dairy as well as animal lovers and to celebrate this month together with you. We have recently got three dairy companies i.e, Ananda, Arvind Dairy (ARLYS) and Happy Milk on board with us who have committed to incorporate animal welfare in their supply chain and won’t encourage urban and peri-urban dairies.
This month by far has been an amazing month for all the animals as we witnessed a fresh wind of great news from Haryana and Punjab High Court. We are pretty sure that the animals in these states must be wagging their tails filled with happiness and feeling relieved as now at least some people will genuinely start valuing them. We have always known the cruelty these dairy animals face every day in those dark shady dairies but none of us ever came forward to bring the change before. Well as it’s rightly said ‘it is never too late’ or ‘better late than never’, so we finally see the change coming our way giving us a new ray of hope where all the dairy animals will have a life worth living and of course we will also get dairy products of great quality.
If you have any other good news to share from your area or you also want to be a part of this movement towards change then please write back to us to volunteer as two heads are always better than one to achieve the goal more effectively. Let’s celebrate the victories towards change for our dairy animals and be the animal champions.
